  1. In order to get grass stains out you should  of treated it as soon as you got the stain. But I would spray on an enzyme pre-soak, such as Shout, rub it into the clothing and I scrub with a toothbrush and let set for a few hours or overnight .

    You would use neither hot or cold water-you would use the setting which is recommended by the manufacturer to wash the item in.
