Hot Spots in Hollywood..??

Question

My friend and I are traveling to Cali in Oct for a weekend (Fri-Mon). We are staying at the Standard Hollywood. We want to go to all the hot spots, maybe see a celeb or two! I love going to famous places where the celebs go, but we don't know where to go around there.

Please give me any suggestions for bars/clubs and restaurants. If they are famous, please tell me why or who goes there lol. Thanks a lot!!

they said Gower Street to La Brea Avenue is the world's most famous sidewalk..so try to go there.

The city hires glamorous ladies to act as tour guides for people at night.  Just ask one of these ladies standing by the road that you are looking for a good time.

celebs  usually  dont announce their social  schedules and as a rule don't hang out in hollyweird.  If they do, its usually  on the strip  where they overcharge for watered down drinks.

orange county is way nicer. you have the beaches http://travel.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-47... malls http://www.southcoastplaza.com/ the clubs http://www.sharkclub.com/ and the amusement parks http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyla... what more could you want? the O.C is alot nicer and you see famous people here to. take my advice and get a hotel in the o.c instead.

My father has a home in hollywood so I know it well.

I'll start with drinks before dinner.

If you're in santa monica the viceroy is fantastic! you can get a private cabana by the pool and drink dirty martinis or champagne.

The sky bar on hollywood boulevard is very nice too, but can be hard to get into.

Dinner:

If you're on sunset boulevard you could try boa. its a great steak house. As are cut in beverly hills (tom cruise and katie holmes' fav) or stk which is just a couple blocks from the boa.

Il sole isnt very well known but is really good and frequented by celebs (britney was there a couple days ago). Its italian food and also just a couple blocks from boa.

After dinner there are a bunch of hot clubs and bars to go to.

Villa is just a couple blocks off of sunset and its very hot right now. Hotel Roosevelt is also really good. Area is also good too.

If I were you I'd stay close to sunset as there are alot of really good places near there.
