Hot Topik Purple Hair Dye?

ok, so I really want to go get some purple hair dye from hot topik, but my mom said i cant get it if itz permanent... DO YOU KNOW IF IT'S PERMANENT? if not how long does it take to wash out?.

I wouldn't recommend it unless your natural hair color is dark brown.  If you dye lighter hair purple, the purple can stain it.   I have dark brown hair and dyed my hair with blue manic panic about 8 years ago, and it took about 2 weeks to come out.  It was very noticeable until I washed it a few times.

Also, don't wear nice clothes for a few days after dying it if you hair is long.  I ended up with dye all over my clothes.

unnatural hair colors r semi permanent.

hot topic has some water based ones that come out within 5-10 washes.

they have temporary dye and permanent. it says it right on the bottle.

i bought some blue semi permanent and it didn't work on my hair because i have brown hair and it barely showed up.

so it will only work if you have light hair.

and it takes about 3 weeks to a month to wash out

hot topic is known for it manic panic hair dye. it is horrible for your hair and it will not come out, and you will have to cut it off. schools do not allow hair that is a un natural colour and they will make you get rid of it.

hot topic says that its not permanent, but IT IS you'll have to grow it out and cut it off, its so gross, and its not even a pretty purple color

The first girl that answerd has no idea what she's talking about.

Eventually, all hair dye fades. You don't have too cut your hair, but

you must redye it your color if you want it back too normal. :]
