Can clear pvc reinforced hose be used to replace the standard opaque pvc flex hose in a hot tub? Experienced answers only please

  1. It can if you have to use it.  The higher temps over time can wreck a toil on some lines that are not ment for hot water.  I also see more chemical related damage to the clear hoses.
