Question:

Hot day help, in the uk; no pool, no sun loungers, help!!!?

i live in the uk, and the week looks to be too hot,

being english, i am adapted away from this.

i have no pool, no sunlounger,

i would like nothing more than to strip down to less than the bare essentials.

however my neighbours have a young child, and they probably wouldnt appreciate my naked **** through the french windows.

neither would my parents.

i need advice on how to stay cool, and how to wear as little as possible whilst retaining enough modesty, so as not to mentaly scar some poor child.

also, another question. i have little to do to leave the house, so i would like some ideas for excercise to do at home. please be gentle though

cheers

  1. Well if you live in an area that the neighbours have 'French Windows' I'm sure you could manage to buy a cheap blow up lilo to use as a sun lounger?........a charity shop may even have one. Cold bath/shower to keep you cool or as a last resort you must have a BASIN you could fill with cold water, splash over face, neck arms, then put your feet in it and then your ar$e. Are you male or female? Male - trunks, even little Poser Pants should be okay for the chid, female any type of bikini.....not got one? Bra and pants......sure that wouldn't mentally scar a child.  Exercise? Few press ups?, cut the grass before you sun bathe? Fool around with a ball?  C'm your creating problems that aren't there. Just enjoy the sun while it's here.

  2. when you get to hot sit in the nice cold bath every hour or so. or stand under the shower. that's what i do I'm in the shower every 30 min,as its been so hot. u.k.as for exercises, i would give that a miss as you sweat alot and lose weight.can't you wear a bikini, that's about the coolest thing.have fun.xx

  3. Maybe you could buy a water slide from argos. I got one for about £25. Do a few extra chores and you will have enough money, provided you have a hose pipe and an outside tap.

You just blow up the end bit and slide down it on your garden or patio, Its brilliant

You could also buy a Bandeau Bikini The tops don't have straps so you wouldn't get tan lines, and you can cover up as little as you want without showing off too much. Alternatively you could borrow/find some windbreakers (everyone has them) and put them up around you, or you could buy a beach tent so you are hidden yet you can still get the sun on you.

i have exactally the same problem because i live in the middle of nowhere.

A water fight is also a good way to exercise and cool down.

  4. Air-con :) cool the house/ room down, considering getting one myself. No need to be taking any clothes off then.

Running your hands under cold water, and on your forehead can be helpful.

    Cold drinks, lots of ice.

    Nice cold shower..?

    I could go on, lol.
