  1. paint aqua, sophisticated purple or well black! i would wallpaper 1 wall black & wall colour patters or splater like those converses u get that r all splattered...

  2. yay sum nay

  3. I painted my old bedroom at my mom's house that color. Just make sure you're totally in love with it because I think it looks a whole lot brighter when it's all over your walls. I loooove pink so I was ok with it til I got married 6 years later, but if you think it may be too much try just making 1 or 2 walls that color.

  4. wow. that's bright. just blend it with good coordinates and i think it would be nice.

  5. i think its too like bam right in your face..

    so i go with nay

  6. yes but add another color 2 the mix mabey a purple

  7. thats cute!

if you find you don't want that try a bright aqua or turquoise.

pink is cute, funky, and lively. you can have black photo frames and basically anything else you want! target and other stores might have a cute hotpink rug also!

  8. Maybe one wall...but the whole room, that's pretty scary...

    But hey, it's your room...

  9. Pretty. But i would keep that on one wall.

You will never get a good night sleep if all your walls are that color.

Just add it with the same color on your lamp shade, pillows and candles

  10. It is really bright - like the other users, I wouldn't suggest using on all of the walls.  Coordinate it with colors that go well with it - perhaps a lime green with pink circles on the wall.  Green is typically a more soothing color.  You could also use pink as the color of your bedding, etc.

  11. Yay,but you should put some design on the pink, like floral or stars. It would probably make it more interesting. But if you like it plain then that's great too!Pink and black go together like peanut butter and jelly so the room should look awesome!I hope that I helped so Good Luck and GOD Bless!

  12. Definetly BRIGHT...if that is your color then DO IT~ I love pink ..though i like a paler shade, If thats what you like doesnt matter what others feel.  My daughter wanted a black room..soo seeing we cant change walls..(thank goodness..LOL)  I made curtains for her closet door using a shower curtain with silver star shower curtains rings...black curtains and we have silver star and golden moons on a few wall hangings that she loved...black comforter and toss pillows with gold and silver. It mad e room dark, but she loves it~~ Have fun

it looks good, you could go classic with it like that or you can do it like this

Nix the pink trees and do one wall black with the pink dots and the other walls a lighter pink.

There's alot you can do with pink and black!!

  14. pink is the most annoying colour so be care ful stay to natural colours

  15. It will make your room seem really small. If I were you I would paint it white and paint parts of it pink. You could get stencils and put hot pink patterns on your walls. Oh yeah, I know you didn't ask how to make a room seem bigger but I would add mirrors to your room. That would look really cool. If you really want to do hot pink then do it! It actually sounds like it would look amazing with black furniture.

  16. If you want to use that color pink, you might want to consider using a different color (possibly a contrasting color) to paint one or two of the walls in the room.  Otherwise the room is going to be very bright and bold.

  17. no, thats dumb because in 2 years from now you will want another color.

  18. yes and a zebra prints bedspread!

  19. yay

  20. the pink you show -- that's almost fuqua, halfway between fuqua and pink. To cool it off, lavendar, or grays.

For eye throbbing, add bold lime-green stripes with sunset orange naugahyde furniture. Just don't put pet reptiles in the same room -- you'll kill them.

  21. I would probably feel too confined in a solid bright room. Have you thought of blending in other colors with a sponge? Orange or lavender would look good.

I think this one is real nice in Raspberry

    Good luck

  22. Hmmm sure paint it that colour, but you could also take some ordinary kitchen sponges and get some nice white paint and dip the sponge in the white paint and squeeze the paint out until it is moist not wet and then dab the walls to create a cloud like effect, later once the paint dries you can get some glow in the dark stickers of stars and moons to create a celestial theme for your room and it isn't too much extra work either.

  23. Yay!! I like it.

  24. Absolutely Yah to pink bedroom walls! I just finished mine and it is beautiful. Hot Pink Fusia Chiffon double layered curtains i found at walmart on 7/20/08 and at Aubuchon Hardware store for $29.00 per gallon the color is as follows:

GLIDDENS Colour Delux Satin Finish (easiest to clean) Saltmarsh Pink 29RR 66/154

Go to the Glidden Paint Home page and find the color. I will tell you right up front it looks alot darker on the wall then it looks on the color swatch. My accent colors are black and silver and it is so beautiful. I am 95% done. (took me 2 days) now I am spray painting some of the old accessories I had in my room previously, silver and high gloss black. Accessories like dried flowers, angel statutes, small wall shelves, baskets, etc.  The spray Paint colors are called "Aluminum" and "Gloss Black"  I can take a pic on my digital and forward it to you if you like

  25. I think its a little too dark.

    my room is hot pink,

    but its lighter than that.

  26. eghh depends how old you are under 13 sure! over 13 try a lighter pink

  27. um, not the WHOLE thing.

  28. I think it is a really exciting and fun color.  I suggest  putting up molding or unique ceiling tiles and paint them the same color to help make it look more sophisticated and fun instead of just a simple hot pink room with black furniture out of a barbie dreamhouse.

  29. my neighbor painted 3 of her walls that shade of pink and 1 wall black and white checkered also she painted the molding black it turned out really cute!

  30. i think it sounds pretty nice, but mayb not all over and a lighter shade? be flexible mayb you could have alternate white and hot pink or lime green hot pink walls, all four walls are probly really bright and you might get annoyed by it, even if you do a lighter pink and hot pink walls, i think just not all over the room, otherwise i like your ideas you can look at paint colors at this site: http://www.behr.com/behrx/workbook/

have fun with your room!! :]

  31. First let me say that I LOVE your gutsy choice in colour and accessories etc.

My question is: which room are you painting and how big is it?

This hot pink would make a killer powder room!!

Is this a livingroom with loads of light?  Or a bedroom.

Either way it's a STRONG colour so you can't wimp out on the accessories, they'll have to be big and BOLD to exist in a hot pink room. I'd suggest filling the room with lots of sparkle...crystal chandlier, mirrored trays, tables etc.. lots of reflective surfaces.  Otherwise you, or your guests won't be able to handle the strong pink for too long.
