Question:

Hot water and lemon juice for water retention?

Is this ok for a pregnant woman. I mean it really is only hot water and lemon juice but I would rather ask a silly question and be sure than plunge ahead and do harm. Even a small risk ia a risk avoided.

  1. As long as it's straight lemon juice, and not a lemon tea that has other herbs mixed into it for "relaxation" or "energy" or something like that it should be okay.

Generally, just drinking a large amount of water helps with water retention and swelling, since it helps to move the circulatory system along.

EDIT to your additional details: go for it then. ^_^ Also, if you're having a lot of swelling in your feet, massage works well too.
