Hot water heater is busted, it is leaking into the closet, and is running into the air conditioner causing an electrical smell that fills the whole entire place. Do I call the plumber, how soon. What the h**l do we do?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

As the others said, turn off the water supply into the water heater and turn off the breaker to the air conditioner.  Then hook a hose to the water heater drain spigot and see if you can drain it - you will probably have to open a hot water faucet somewhere.  The more water you can get out of it the less there is to drain into the air conditioner.  Now look into repairing/replacing your water heater.

open your water meter and turn the water meter of ,and then call your plumber asap,.

shut the power off to the ac and water heater there also should be a water shut off valve at the water heater that you can turn off

then call some one

Turn off the pilot light & shut off the water before anything shorts out and starts a fire.  Then call the plumber.
