Hot water leaks from a pipe outside when central air is on?

This is the first summer its actually been doing this. and it only happens when ac is on. Now when we take showers the hot water only last a few minutes? Whats going on? Thanks!

  1. Your AC isn't connected to your domestic hot water, UNLESS you have an AC  system the uses the heat from the AC to heat domestic hot water.  They do exist but are very rare and very expensive.  If you can afford the system you can easily afford to call a pro.  If that's not it, then you are confusing what you are seeing and the 2 are likely unrelated.  Ask again and state how your domestic hot water is heated


  2. That pipe is the drain for the water heater T/P valve it is leaking and will run up your electric and water bill. Call a plumber!
