Hot water problem?

hi

when i switch on hot water ONLY, the central heating come on.

the thermostat and timer controal switch have both been replaced but the problem is still there.

please advise a solution.

The motorised valve controlling the CH circuit has failed in the open position. You should be able to physically check this by viewing the valve. New valve needed.
