  1. You have a bad lower heating element

  2. If your gas water heater isn't heating the water, check the pilot light.

If you can't get the pilot light lit. the thermocouple may be worn out.

When you replace a thermocouple, it's a god idea to clean the burner and gas tube at the same time.

  3. hot water heaters get build up of minerals and other deposits in the water and wear out,it is time to replace it.call a plumber

  4. It may be deposits built up in the bottom of the tank. Try draining it and flushing it out.

  5. When you have a gas H2o heater there is not much that can go wrong. it could be a gas flow issue, a burner issue, a build up in the tank issue or a thermostat issue. Try turning the temp up on the tank and if that does not do it then get a plumber to check things out.

  6. sounds like you might need to flush out your water heater  or even install a new one
