Hotel's and things to do in Rome/Hotel e cose fare a Roma?

Currently I'm studying abroad in Sardegna (an Island off the coast of Italy), and my parents plan on coming in late April to Rome for about a week or so. Are there any reasonably priced hotels in Rome that anyone recommends and places to visit? Any answers will be helpful thanks!

Va bene.

It was only E75 for a nice 3-star, double with ensuite bath, breakfast, taxes. Breakfast is a great buffet and the rooms are completely updated, more to a 4-star level (some amenities are 5-star quality). I research it often because I travel there a lot. It's near Termini Stazione and walking distance to everything. Metro and city's biggest bus terminal is also at Termini. Don't listen to people that say Termini area is dangerous. I've walked the streets at all hours and have seen nothing to be worried about. My ladyfriend is never worried either, and she has walked alone to some places in that area as well. You know the drill, so no worries. Bet Sardinia is a great place to study!
