My wife and I just celebrated our 6th Anniversary and wanted to go and get away from house and kids for a night. But, none of the nice hotels in our area would give us a room. They said they did not rent to locals. Is this legal? Can they do this? These where giant chain hotels, I do not get it?

  1. The hotel would rather rent their rooms out to tourists or travelers, because they're more likely to stay a few nights. If you guys are just going one night, then they'd rather leave a room open for someone who'll stay longer.

    I dunno if it's illegal.

  2. Do not know if it is illegal but have a relative out of the area rent it for you and pay them back or use there address.
