Hotel VILLA PAMPHILIJ, Roma. Do you know anything about it?

Have you ever stayed at the Pamphilij Hotel or know anything about it and it's restaurants? Comments appreciated, August visit planned there.

we stayed there 8-9 years ago.  The  building and grounds are very nice.  As i remember the food was also pretty good.  We did have a very uncomfortable incident occurr.  In the room adjoing ours we heard some screaming and yelling that was very scary - it sounded like a male voice that was almost being abused or really harmed.  We went to the main desk and complaine-.they informed us it was nothing and gave us another key to a room on the same floor at the opposite end.  As we were going to the other room completely at the other end we could still hear the screams.  In addition the new room was very hot and not a very nice room.  A really bad experience.

Never been there.  Hotels.com says it's a 4 star - decent price.  http://www.hotels.com/property.do?search...
