Hotel in Ballsbridge, leeson street area of Dublin?

I will be sitting exams in a building on Lesson street next to the canal soon, I know the mespil is close but I wanted to spend as little as possible, can anybody tell me any hotels or guesthouses within walking distance of this area?

You could try the YWCA Students Residence on Baggot St (near the bridge on Stephens Green side). I used to work there but not sure what the prices are at the minute or if they have availability for a one night stay - it's usually term students stay - but give them a ring and see cos they often keep a room free for just in case situ's. 016449666.
