Hi all,

I would like to find a hotel in New York (around 100 bucks per day) from which I can easily reach (walking o by public transport) Soho, Little Italy and surrounding areas. I would like to avoid hostels, if it is possible. Any good advice?

Thank you so much

I.

  1. I  will give you a couple of websites that will help you out. They are (new york on tap)and (welcome to new york city).Good Luck  and enjoy yourself.

  2. For 100 bucks per day, you are not going to be staying very close to Soho.

As you can tell from MapQuest or HopStop, it's many miles and at least an hour of travel from anywhere in traditionally defined "Long Island" to Soho.

The LaGuardia area is a whole lot closer to Mercer St. than Long Island is.  You might also try Jersey City, NJ (about as convenient/inconvenient as the LGA area)

  3. Honestly you will need to stay in NJ and take the path into the city. I stayed n N.Bergen for under $80. The path goes right into city.

  4. You can try hotel search in http://www.AmericaCheapHotels.com where you can read hotel details, reviews and comments, see photos and its physical locations through maps, details about important nearby locations ....

Best thing is you can compare the USA/worldwide hotel prices in any city in any country in your local currency.

You can find good deals because this compares hotel prices from 30 best travel websites.

You can even able to filter out hotel by its features such as Star hotels,Business Center, Room Service, High-speed Internet, Fitness Room, Restaurant Parking, Swimming pool, Pets Allowed, Airport shuttle, Handicap Accessible, Concierge ...

Access lots of USA and worldwide travel information.

  5. Stay out towards lagurardia, you can just take the subway or bus into the city. Try staying at the clarion, they give you a pretty good rate at hotels.com. The clarion is about 4 miles from Manhattan, in a good neighborhood, next to a bus stop, and the hotel was just remodeled on the inside. It probably costs no more that $125

  6. Try the Red Roof Inn round the corner from the Empire State building.

On second thoughts I just checked their site and their prices have gone mad since I stayed there.Doubt if anywhere in Manhattan is available at that price.
