Hotel de la Porte Doree is a charming little hotel.  You can check their websites for prices, but if you call, they often have specials.  Our room had really nice wood floors, a super deep bathtub, a nice view, fireplace, and comfy beds.  They also serve a nice breakfast in the morning, which you can eat in your room.  It is also really close to the Bois de Vincennes, which is a great place for an afternoon walk.  http://www.hoteldelaportedoree.com/

I stayed here last summer, and it was amazing. I paid 53 euros per night, for a double room with a private balcony and a private shower. The rooms were beautiful, with antique furniture, and the shower was brand new. The hotel is located next to Luxembourg Gardens, only a few minutes walk from Notre Dame. It has free breakfast and an elevator, as well as a beautiful interior courtyard. The guy who owns the place is very nice, and speaks pretty good English. He even let us stay on an extra mattress in the laundry room (for free) when we showed up a night early with nowhere to stay.
