Hotel nice as Ritz Carlton in San Francisco?

I know the Ritz is extremely nice, are there any comparable hotels in the city or nearby? I wanted to do my wedding reception at the one in Half Moon Bay overlooking the beach, but they don't have a dance floor for where they do the smaller weddings :-(. I really liked the idea of a nice hotel overlooking the beach, but I MUST have my first dance. The one in San Francisco is really nice, but not near the beach at all. What are some equal or at least similar quality hotels in the area?
