My 16th birthday is coming up and im trying to decide on wether to have a hotel party or go to dave and busters. dave and busters is cheaper but a hotel party seems more fun and ive been looking up hotel prices for the Marriot and a suite starts around $104 which isnt too bad considering that its for one night only. if i have a hotel party im thinking about inviting 5 friends and if i go to dave and busters maybe 7-8 friends. which idea seems better?

  1. It depends. What are you looking for? Food or a party? "Hotel food" is kind of misleading. The quality of food from one hotel to another can vary drastically. Seems to me for kids your age D&B would be more what you are looking for. Food there is OK, but then they have all the games and stuff too.

  2. You can do your party in hotel.

    The offer is:

Budapest Hotel in Moldova.  The quality of services, the specialized staff and the family environment of the hotel make you to feel like home.

  3. I would for sure go to D&B. Especally if you do not drink cause they can still make you and your party "Virgin" drinks.

Have fun and hope all goes well!

  4. Think about what you will be doing.  Eating and enjoying each others company for a couple of hours at D&Bs, or going to the pool to hang out, then back to the room to chill, watch TV, play games...whatever.  If your freinds are the rowdy type that will cause trouble for you in a hotel, I would go for the fun dinner.  If they can be trusted to keep things cool, fairly quiet and non destructive, have the hotel party.

  5. Go with Dave and Busters.  The hotel party might seem like a good idea...but you're just setting yourself (and whoever reserves the room for you) up for a world of trouble.  Hotels are meant for travelers and most enforce their policy of guests remaining relatively quiet and respectful of others privacy.  I'm assuming that a party isn't going to be quiet, and if you're having it at a hotel, since you're 16, I'm also going to assume that there is going to be underage drinking involved.  You're a minor, and drinking is illegal, and I'm pretty sure that you have to be 18 to reserve a room.  Hotel security will turn you over to the local authorities if they find out.  Go with Dave and Buster's as your venue and save yourself the arrest record.
