  1. There's this place that i've been to and it's called Phan Tiet that is kinda near Mui Ne...and sorry if i'm wrong but , i think that either near Phan Tiet, or Mui Ne, there's this huge sand hill, and the sand is reddish orangish, and you can sled there if you pay some money. something interesting about that sand hill is that i think due to wind, it changes it's shape frequently. oh and sorry if something is wrong, or mispelled or something. oh and i think that the last answerer had a good recommendation about the resorts. i stayed in a resort when i went and it was pretty good. hope this helps.

  2. You may be better of staying in a resort, the beach is lined with them, they all have pooles and aircon and cost between20 and 60 dollars.Mui Ne is nice but very very windy, also there is not a lot to do,5 hours up the coast is Nha Trang,in my opinion the best place in Vietnam.

  3. you can go straight to Mui Ne Beach from Hochiminh city by train or bus, and lots of nice Hotels there with air con and pool, travel agency will give you address

  4. Mui Ne is a beach resort complex near the city of Phan Thiet (not Phan Tiet), about 160 miles northeast of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), along the coastline. You can fly to HCMC and conveniently get to Mui Ne by train or bus.
