Hotels / B&B - Brixton Carling Academy?

Question

I'm hoping to go to the carling academy in brixton next month, was wondering if there is a reasonably priced hotel / B&B **really** close to the academy, only staying for one night, as I live in Bristol and won't be able to get a train or coach back after the gig has finished......thanks for any help :)

oooh also how far is Brixton from Victoria station? thanks.

You might also get some advice if you contact the Academy itself - there are so many people in similar situations to yours whenever a late-ending gig is held and no doubt they'll have somebody available who can give you information about the closest and more recommended hotels.

Brixton's not far from Victoria - four stops on the Victoria tube line, you don't even need to make an interchange. In fact, you may find it easier to take a night bus or cab to Victoria after your gig ends, and stay in a hotel in that area.
