Hotels in Delhi,Agra,Jaipur,lucknow & Kolkotta ?

HI I plane to visit North India i.e. Delhi,Agra,Jaipur,lucknow n Kolkatta in the late september ?I already book my ticket. I first go to Lucknow than to Agra- Jaipur - Delhi and Kolkata and then back to Home. I like to ask some qustion on this regards.

1. Please suggest me name of some good n clean bugget hotel of this cities around Rs. 800/ per night.

2.In Agra arond Tajmahal, In Jaipur and Lucknw near Railaway n Bus station and in Kolkata around Central Kolkatta.

3.In Delhi I thought of Paharganj area. But some suggest me to avoid me it and chose Karolbaghor conought placeinsted. I got my wife with me.

4.Is it better to book Hotel now or wait till mid September ? And whats a better option, contect directly with hotel or go through travel site ?

5. Is it okIf to book taxi in Delhi or Other cities through Hotel, or it is better to talk them directly ?
