Hotels in Frederiksted/Rental car?

Question

I'm going to Frederiksted in January for a wedding, and am hoping to find out what my best option is for a hotel. Have only found the Frederiksted Hotel so far. I am too young to rent a car, so I don't want to deal with taxis to C'sted and back very much. However, if you know of a local place that rents to 21+ instead of 25+, that would be great info too! Thanks!

i live on st croix and i gotta tell you there is nothing going on in frederiksted buddy

sandcastles on the beach is really nice but its a g*y resort " not there is anything wrong with that "

sounds like you are kinda stuck without a rental car and all since that and frederiksted hotel is the only places to stay out west

carambola resort is the next closest and cab fairs shouldnt be to much to frederiksted

thats my only suggestion for you

i am a bartender at divi resort out east

Here is link to car rentals on St Croix. You may have better luck renting from local rental car dealers than Hertz, Avis or Budget. You also may have to pay a surcharge for being under 25.

I wouldn't stay at the Frederiksted Hotel.  It's ok if you're on a budget but I think it's kind of a dive.  My personal favorite is Divi Carina Bay, but I've linked several St. Croix hotel sites in my sources.

The very last link should help you find a rental car.  Give them a try.  I'm sure they'll be willing to work with you.  Even the rental companies that have 25+ policies will allow younger drivers to rent provided they leave a deposit.
