Hotels in Nueva Andalucía, Marbella? Residents of Marbella welcome to answer!?

Hiya,

I am going to marbella in june and need a hotel in the Nueva Andalucía area of Marbella?

Having no knowlegde of the area i wonder if any of you who live there or know the area could suggest any reasonably priced/ 3 *** hotels in this area?

if you don't need to be on that side of Marbella then come back to the Fuengirola side as hotels are cheaper than Nueva side as it's know as millionares quarter.

i live in the Marbella area and it is cheaper to live where i do than further out towards Nueva.

you can always visit Marbella and Puerto Banus as it's in easy reach

Nueva Andalucia is virtually Puerto Banus which is quite expensive. A paradise for posers ! Try 'junta de andalucia' & you'll probably come up with a website which may give the info you require, or try 'marbella tourist office'.  You can slo get the info in the Andalucia Rough Guide. 'Rough' also do a guide book on Marbella which costs GBP 6.99. Sneak into your local bookshop a take a sneak look !  I live quite near to Marbella and can't think of a 3* place. Lots of 5s though. There must be some hostels etc in the OLD TOWN of Marbella. Buses go direct from airport till late, then take a cabbie who know all the hotels. Good luck. Ed.
