Hotels in Paris near Eiffel Tower?

Could anyone suggest 3/4 star good hotels to stay in Paris for 4 nights. Thanks a lot

Hotel de L'Alma is a 3 star hotel near the tower with reasonable rates.

Etap Hotel  it's in Paris not close to the tower but you can get a good view of it.

the one's right by the eiffel tower are super expensive!

After doing a LOT of research, we have decided to stay at the Hotel de la Motte Picquet when we visit Paris next month.  Ten minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.  $215/night, booked directly with the hotel.  Out of 1764 hotels in Paris, this was rated #22 on www.tripadvisor.com.   Hotel du Muguet - a jewel - twenty years ago was my fav for 13/15'o clock - see what I mean - if a woman asks love to you, refuse her is a dead sin isn't ??? and if the office is 500 meters beside ?
