Hotels in Puerto Rico?

Question

Anyone have a suggestion for a hotel in Puerto Rico, preferably all-inclusive, that would be good for a family with a teenager? I'm hoping to find someplace where other teenagers might be so that he's not bored.

You need to decide whether to stay in San Juan or 'out on the island'. I always recomend people do half & half if possible. Also there really arent many all-inclusive hotels in PR. Gran Melia is one. But seriously your teen probably wont be bored in Puerto Rico at all. PR is Not your typical beach vacation. There are beautiful beaches & tons of fun things to do! San Juan has nightlife, shopping, restaraunts & great sights too see. There are so many beautiful historical sights, & these sights are actually cool not boring, like El Morro fort. The beaches in San Juan arent the best on the island. But Isla Verde in San Juan is nice. For the best beaches you can check out Culebra or Vieques Islands.  Also you can see El Yunque rain forest, Camuy Caves, Arecibo Telescope, The bioluminescent bay or lagoon & so much more. Never a dull moment. Have fun

Are you looking in the San Juan metro area or rest of the island?  We've enjoyed Hotel Pierre because it's not too pricey and has great location.  Can't say we met anyone.

High end resort is El Conquistador.  Gorgeous, might be what you are looking for.

Mostly, we use our hotels (or campsite --did that once) as base and just get out and explore. Paradores throughout the island are excellent.

try sol melia, all inclusive hotel, at  Rio Grande , Puerto Rico. Not that far from the city and El conquistador in Fajardo, beaches, pools, casino. it also has a marina. If you stay in Isla Verde many hotels offer  watersports and lessons  like kayaking and surfing for teenagers and adults.Take care Raul.
