Hotels in Wellington near Westpac?

Question

Any suggestions on not-so expensive hotels near Westpac Stadium? We'll be watching Rock2Wellington this March 22-23! :) Thanks!

There are none right next to the stadium but there are a few about a 10-20 minute walk away

Try for hotels around Lambton Quay and the Terrace

The Waterloo Hotel opposite the Railway Station is the closest, but it's a not so posh backpacker place.

In this category the YHA in Tinakori Road would be better, if just a little further away.

Otherwise there's heaps of hotels a little further away, but still within easy walking distance, plus there's a good bus service to the Railway Station anyway.
