Hotels near MXP airport?

Question

Hi,

Me and my dad will be visiting my friend in Milan this June. The problem is that I don't know of many hotels near that airport (I had looked at hotels near LIN). My friend will help me if I ask him, but I hate to bother him with a simple question.

We (my dad and I) are wanting easy transportation, preferably in the city (where my friend lives). We've never been to Europe before, so we don't know what to expect.

Could anybody help me please? Or maybe post a website? Thanks to all who answer!

I'd take the bus into Milan & stay there,

(Take Malpensa Shuttle to Milano Centrale Railway

Buses leave Terminal 1, exit number 5, stop number 4

at: 0820, 0840, 0900, 0920; arrive at Milano Centrale

ferrovie (train station) at: 0910, 0930, 0950, 1010

Buses leave Terminal 2,  arrival pick-up curb, at

0830, 0850, 0910, 0930; arrive at Milano Centrale

ferrovie (train station) at: 0910, 0930, 0950, 1010)

BUT if you need an easy airport hotel with a shuttle bus, on the day that you get there or leave, I highly recommend Hotel Sempione - Casorate Sempione. Good restaurant too!

Ciaoo :)) Malpensa airport is near Varese city but there is a bus (and even a train) that can bring you from MXP to Milan Central Station (about 50 minutes) and not far from Milan center city. Just in front of the station there is a street with many hotels where you can spend less. The street name is Via Napo Torriani.

Ciao Ima! I'm not english but I try to help you: MXP (Malpensa) Airport is an intercontinental hub and it's far 46 km from city centre;viceversa LIN (Linate) airport is 10 km far from Milan. So, I suggest you to not choose hotel in MXP because it's umconfortable! You can look for a hotel placed in city centre. Am I helpful?
