Hotpoint Dishwasher. Bought it new 2 weeks ago. Seemed to be working ok. Last night it started

Bought it new 2 weeks ago. Seemed to be working ok. Last night it started leaking out the front door (suds).
I disconnected the drain line (tried to blow through line to tub, NO GO) so I started it and ran it into the sink. It seemed to be flowing OK, but there is still about 1/2 inch of water inside washer. Is this OK?
