Hotpoint FFA80 fridge freezer

Question

Yesterday the internal light did not come on.I took it out to see if the filament had blown.Hard to see if it had or not. Screwed it back in to its fitting and there was a loud bang, and there was no power to the fridge freezer at all.Prior to me taking the light out, there had been power to the fridge freezer.Any suggestions as to whether the machine is completely dead or is it something theta can be fixed easily?
