Hotpoint HTS22GBMARWW refrigerator w top freezer...

Question

Freezer wasn't cooling - and fan was running for a long time - hours. everything in freezer was thawed.
Then checked it - later and everything was frozen.

Thought - problem solved - kind of.? But then checked a few hours later and all food is thawed again - and for the last day - hasn't kicked back into cooling.

Have misplaced the manual that came with it. Have swept coils in back, unplugged and plugged back in, then we messed with the cooling controls - and now - frantic that nothing seems to be working and we cannot remember the procedure to "reset" if that might be a solution to the problem.
