Hotpoint WMA58 Front Load Washer?

I need a washing machine and I found this one on ebay. It looks good and new on ebay but i want to know whether this would be a good choice to buy it because I searched about the machine and the reviews from the users had not been good. Please tell me how do you find it if you own one.. thank you very much.=]

I have just bought a HotPoint WT540 from Dixons online...7kg load.

Comet wanted £299.99..............Currys wanted £279.99

Dixons wanted £230.10.

You may know that Currys and Dixons are the same firm yet currys wouldn't let me have it at the Dixons price cos they are a online only firm, But guess what ? it came in a currys van. good luck

Probably not a good idea, looking good and new doesn't really mean anything.  My 10 year old one looked good and new but was uneconomic to repair.  Like the previous answer said, look online, shop around and get a new one with a guarantee.
