Hotpoint freezer. My freezer was turned off for about 1/2 hour while we did electrical around

My freezer was turned off for about 1/2 hour while we did electrical around house now it just keeps clicking at the back...trying to turn on I guess. Is there a reset button or do I have to buy a new freezer? This on is about 20 years old. Thankyou
