Hotpoint iced diamond fridge freezer red light. I have a constant red light on next to the normal

Question

I have a constant red light on next to the normal green one and freezer is defosting, I increased the temp in fridge and seem to sort it but it has now come back on.
The fridge still keeps kicking in but still freezer is defrosting.
Can it be repaired.
