The temperature, measured under standard exposure conditions, reached or exceeded the century mark every day from 31 October 1923 to 7 April 1924, a total of 160 days.

Although it's been contested Cloncurry in QLD has recorded the highest temp in Aus history. I'd believe it too I've been there.

But, The Australian Antarctic Territory isn't actually part of Australia, we just like to think it is.
