Hottest destination with shortest flight?

Hi all not to keen on flying but am desperate for some sun!

Can you help with hot locations with short flights?

Say a max of three and a half hours?

Are you in the UK?  If so Southern Spain is 2 and half hours from London airports and its about 40 degrees at the moment.

Majorca is beautiful and only 2 and a half hours from Scotland so must be less for you obviously.

Southern Spain flights from Gatwick around 2 and a half hours.

I live in South east Spain and today's temperature in just over 30 degrees and I'm being honest. The pool is a little chilly as the nights are now get cooler.

Get yourself up the A23/M23 to Gatwick and take a flight to Malaga.  The Costa del Sol is lovely in September, in fact June & September are my favourite months there.  You'll find temperatures in the mid to high 80's, lovely food at reasonable prices and cheap drinks too.

In Sept I would say Turkey, Cyprus or the Canary Islands.  I know what you mean about being desperate for some sun! x

If you want to push it to the maximum flight time then the majority of the Greek Islands are only about 3 hours flight frpm Manchester (so probably quicker from London airports), I just came back from Corfu and the weather is hitting around 42 degrees on a daily basis
