  1. I would recommend consulting an acupressure practitioner to find out what can be done. Without knowing what surgery you're facing or how advanced the problem is, we would just be shooting blind. Good luck!


  2. It would be difficult to treat hernia by acupressure.  At best you can remove the air in the stomach by acupressure and stop them from exerting pressure on hernia. There should also be a conscious effort on the patient not to exert pressure of air while excretion, urination and bending forward or pushing or lifting.  These will stop further deterioration.   Supports can also be thought of.  Homeo treatments are successful in many cases of hiatal hernia and umblical hernia, and in some cases of strangulated and  or inguinal hernia.  I would be interested to know the case being fully cleared by acupressure in hernia.  The points are there on the palm below the reflex point for kidney and just below the palm joining with wrist for bladder, and on the joint of thumb and wrist for constipation.
