  1. 5.00 an hour

  2. I charge a flat rate of $120 a week , But that's only because i really don't need the money because my husband makes great money but i'm sick of sitting home all day long waiting for my baby to come in october

  3. In America (Pennsylvania) I would charge $8 for the first kid, $12 for two, $14 for three and $15 for four.

  4. Most people charge per day.  Daycare places as well.  Hourly it's not much... In Scarborough, my sister-in-law pays 45 a day through a regulated home care.  Day care centers charge up to 80 or more a day ( unless you are subsidized because of low family income).  If she has a couple kids it will work out to a good chunk of change. But she has to keep in mind most people want receipts now so they can claim it on their income taxes.  Which means she may have to claim it as well as income.  It's great if she wants to raise her own kids as well, but in the end, hourly it isn't much. She needs to weigh it all out.
