  1. Maybe researching the immediate area's history might lead you to a name.  Is there a geographical point in your area that you could use?  Research old maps, USGS maps for ideas. Can you modify a previous owner's name...or your name?  Was the farm known for something special?  Hog could become Hogsmede, Dairy could be Dairymede. Chickens?  Well, can't think of anything there...Chickenfete? no, just kidding.

  2. How about 'your surname DEN'? For me it would be 'The Irelands Den' =]

    x

  3. country charm

  4. each field will have had a name, ask the locals.  You can give your home a local name which has some history, some meaning for people in the area.  Better than Dunroamin or kenmarie or something with no depth to it.  Perhaps a nearby hill has a nice name you could use.

  5. something original. My house is  called willbridge because my dads name is william and my mams name is brigid they got it as a wedding present

  6. Were you driven to your wits' end doing the conversion?  If so, how about "Wit's End"?  Or, did it drive you to the end of your tether...."Tether's End"?    Finished rendering the outer walls....."Render's End"?

    Just a few suggestions there.

  7. traditional types like rose cottage, farm house manor but you could use your surname ect...

  8. like literally you want to name your house

  9. how about "BEDLAM" , or "AT LONG LAST".. or "OUR DEN"

just play around with it ,if you come up blank, just call it

    "couldn't think of a name " lol

good luck and have fun !!!
