House burnt down . anyone have fundraising ideas?

my teachers house burnt down completely . shes left with nothing . shes the sweetest woman, she always donates so much on christmas and helps anyone who needs help . and now shes left with this . the school is already collecting money for her, however does anyone know a good fundraiser that would draw in a lot of money? she really needs it . any answers will help . thanks

Contact all media that you possibly can, set up a bank site for all willing to donate. Meet with others that would like to help. Yard sales, carnival (dunk the principal), bake sales....involve the community as much as possible. “I live in a small town“, if you are in the city.....try churches & send flyers home with children.

I would suggest a fundraiser -

contact some local news people, tell the story and ask if they can help. Talk to local musicians who would be willing to play at the fundraiser. Seek out a church, school or auditorium in your area that would consider donating space for the event.

Go to the larger businesses in your area - they often get involved with philanthropic gestures. They might underwrite any costs associated with the event.

Sorry - I meant a Show as a fundraiser event. People do it all the time.
