House in the east coast.?

Question

we are planning to built a new house in the east coat. What is better: the typical american house (colonial), a mediterranean house or a modern one.

We have kids, so I don't know, what do you think guys?

  i  like colonial houses i think they have charm and style . to mmodernrn  homes are so cold i live in an olVictorianan home that was built in the 1928   it is beautifulul home.

build it 3 miles in from waterfront first.built it right 2x6 framing not 2x4. any style is fine.

Always modern. Picture this a white kitchen with a grey brick wall and a built in fish tank. A huge range and fridge freezer with modern art dotted around.
