i have 3 house phones all on one line,and all dead. they wont recharge. it says on the battery charge for a minimum of 16 hours. what the h**l...i let one charge for 3 days with out using it and i go to use it and it still beeps and notifies me that its going to shut off compleatley with in 4 secounds & 4 beeps. its pissing me off. this is all 3 phones.

so my question is is it possible that thers no juice in em? that once youve had em for so long there no longer good?

  1. If the batteries have been charged and recharged over and over for several months, they lose the ability to HOLD a charge. Replace the batteries, NOT the whole phone. You can usually find them online at sites like www.ebatts.com

    They're cheaper than going to a place like Circuit City and all you have to do is know the make and model of your phone.


  2. Yes , you do need a battery to replace, But for so long didn't replace sometime would do , sometimes don't even have a new battery on it.

    If you buy new one it cost you $39.99 plus tax Uniden 5.8 it has a Digital answering machine, clock display, caller id, Speaker phone, room monitor, 3 way calling, hold. ringer option.

    that just the base.. find it at Walmart store, you can add 10 more so you don't have to wire all the rooms.
