House phones are acting weird?

Idk what happened to my phone. Every time someone calls it either says that it is "unable to call" or its just a beeping sound. When i try to open the other house fone to make it a conference it will always say "unable to call try again" . ...but it happens all the time! Either way i am not able to answer the phone because of the beeping sound i get insted of the actual person. ....

and aside from that, on one of my 2 fones i can call the person but the person wont hear me.

They're buggered - buy new ones.

You probably need a new house phone.  Or the person your trying to call is on the phone already and it's the busy tone.  Some people dont have call waiting.
