I am planning to emigrate late next year to Australia. Everything is in place the only problem is what will my house sell for. I bought it last year in North Lanarkshire Scotland for 211K. Will it be worth less, this is the only thing that would scupper our plans. What is the forcast does anyone know?

  1. at todays prices ...about 2 neeps and a bag of tatties if ye lucky...

  2. There is a slump in the market just now, not as many buyers but the prices are staying more or less the same.

I would knock 5-6k off that asking price to give you a realistic price for selling youre estate agent will tell you the same thing, good luck xx

  3. I don't think anyone knows in the present climate, but Scotland is less affected by fluctuations than elsewhere.  I don't think you'll lose out but its unlikely to increase much - As ever, its dependant on the area.

Zoopla is a good site for history and forecast based on national and local averages
