House servants/maids in Bangalore?

We have shifted from Delhi to Bangalore and would like to know if there are any placement agencies for house maids from where you can hire them full time like we have in Delhi. I want to hire a live-in maid to do household work.

There are multiple agencies - just call some helpline service like 23333333 and they can help you with that. Most of the agencies take a month's salary. Hope this helps.

Due to some mischief done by House maids and servants in Bangalore recently, the Police have instructed all House holds to provide the photograph and the details of all servants. And further they have warned the public, to check the credential in detail and also get the same confirmed by the earlier employers. This has been issued, in the public interest.

Hence my honest suggestion is not to employ the unknown people. There is no agency in Bangalore, who can arrange you servants and maids. So, contact your neighbours, confirm about the maids working in their house. She / He may be interested in working part time at your house also. Or else he/ she may send, may recommend their Family members or relatives. Please go ahead, only after getting the advice of your neighbours. Get a photo and the guniene address with you safely.
