I'll be house sitting for my neighbors for two weeks in a couple weeks. They have a garden and a dog. What questions should I ask to make sure there are no miscommunications and make sure I know everything that needs to be done?

  1. Have them make you a checklist! Sounds like you will have fun! Good Luck

  2. 1, How about a phone # to reach them.2, and should you turn down the fridge,3, and what temp do you put the AC on    .4, what food should be eaten, so they don't spoil5, and what about telling the postman to hold the mail.6, can anyone come over to sit with you incase it storms,7, and how many movies can you rent on the pay per view.8, what to tell people if they call.9, which light do you leave on at night.10, and who will cut the grass, if you do it, then how much do you get paid?11, and can you have something in writing that says you are suppose to be there watching the place.12, and who's in charge incase somebody comes over to visit them. say like if family invites themselves over and tells you to leave.

  3. Have them start a list of chores now. That way they have plenty of time to add to it if anything else comes to mind. Cell phones work everywhere now, so they are always just a call away should anything arise out of the ordinary. If your a stranger to the dog then you should visit a few times for introduction.
