Household items as bonsai pots?

Are there any household items like this. I assume this pot would be a lot of money. Also are there any places in CT that you can make your own pots?

You can check this site for examples of bonsai containers. You can get an idea of containers and prices. Local Walmart stores may carry suitable pots.

I'm not sure what they are called, but it's the plastic dish that some people put there potted plants into to catch the excess water....?

I wish I had the name because ^that^ description sucks...

But that, would be a good holder for it.

And I'm sure if you go to a Wal*Mart, or something, and wander around in the garden center, or even bathroom area, you could find a nice holder for it.
