I'd love to own a home in Sicily  close to the sea and somewhere close to Catania. I love the look of the sea over the lava rocks... and the pools and coves created along the lava coast.

There is a lot of legal mumbo jumbo that foreigners are not used to. Make sure the hose you buy is actually for sale and moreover that there isn't a lean on the property. You must use a reputable firm to use as an intermediary. Ask for credentials and ask to talk to some of their clients.
