  1. try cleaning the house, while he is asleep, when he is a bit older encourage him to put things back where he found them. try asking a friend to come and babysit while you clean. if you have a bouncer place him in there, while you tidy up

  2. I wish I had the answer too!

All I can say is what my Nan always says.

"Make sure everything has a home and put it back when you have finished with it."

I have taken to sweeping the floor everyday, and cleaning the bathroom everyday before I go to bed, sounds extreme, but always looks better and makes me feel better, also means I don`t have to spend longer on those jobs once a week.

I leave my sons toys out until he is in bed then tidy them up just once a day.

I suppose the best way to keep on top of it is to do it as you make the mass or notice it.

    God Luck

  3. Well, your 9 month old might have a little bit to do with that..no time for yourself....a womans work is never done! ;) LOL     Maybe get a sitter out of the home for a day and just spend the time getting on top of things..the break may do you good also.

  4. How can it be messy an hour later?  Your cat and baby can't be doing it.   Go from room and room and go through everything.  Donate or toss items you really don't need.  Put things away as you are finished  using them..they can't put themselves away LOL

  5. wow wat is goin on wit the world now days.... sekin advice on how to clean ur house... atleast u got a house.. there ppl that got biger problems then a messy house. focus on bigger things. be thankful instead of bein some greedy ungraitful punk.

any way to asnwerr ur question ur not fit into cleaning, u dont got the mentality to keep up with it, its not ur fault.

  6. chuck lots of stuff away. far easier to deal with!! im only 20 and iv figured out that the clutter aint worth it!

  7. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING HAS A PLACE. MAKE A CHART AND DIVIDE THE CHORES UP THROUGH THE WEEK DECIDING WHAT SHOULD BE DON'T WHEN OR HOW OFTEN YOU  NEED TO DO SOMETHING.

    MAYBE GET A HELPER 2 X A WEEK.

  8. I find doing it gradually and as you go through your day helps keep the place clean and tidy – rather than saving it up for a particular day . . . so some top tips.

1 – Clean up as you go along – when you have breakfast do the dishes, when you make lunch clean the kitchen up, don’t leave it.

2 – Get the baby involved – start teaching him now about putting his toys away, you can make it fun and you’ll be teaching him responsibility. It may take a while but as he gets older it should become natural thing, get a toy out, finish with it and put it away.

3 – Limit the mess - if you have a dining room make sure you eat meals in there or if not in the kitchen, this makes sure food isn’t spread around the house.

    - let the baby only play in one room rather than 3 at a time, that way he can clear up as he goes and you won’t have toys spread everywhere.

4 – Get the family involved – make sure everyone helps out – you have a plate wash it up or put in dishwasher – you don’t need to clean up after everyone!

    Hope this helps :o)

  10. plan plan simple answer but really! it helps

  11. I follow the Flylady system, I have found it to work the best and the easiest. I have simple routines and a daily and weekly plan that I can handle. Plus I feel like I'm working alongside thousands of other people who are struggling like I am. Here's a link:

Check it out, it's flexible and family-friendly. Good luck!

  12. I find I do most of my housework while my toddlers are asleep. I start from one room or one end of the house to another and take a bucket with cleaning stuff and a basket to collect stuff that doesn't belong and dirty stuff. I have five kids and try to delegate some jobs to the older ones but as you only have a bub he wont be able to do anything. Even try to get  hubby to help when he is home. Otherwise just try to go from room to room every now and then throughout the day and keep on top of any messes so they don't become big messes. Good luck.  :)
