where can we look for housing?

just what my own place where i can sort the suport out to help me what i need help with?

I would start with your local council and housing associations, or if you want to buy estate agents but you would probably need to make alterations to the house.

Most localities have a disabled services agency. This where I would start. They can help point you in the right direction and advise you on everything from architectural modifications to your home, if need be, to financial support, and special rent and mortgage considerations you may be entitled to. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel and going off in all directions looking for help and suggestions, use this agency to coordinate everything -- like a consultant or private advisor. Don't get dependent on the agency though;, just use them as you would use a good friend.  Everfybody has their own special needs and these you have to solve on your own.  (Should you live near the job, if you have one; should you live in a disabled community; what kind of transportation is nearby; stores? doctors? etc.) Good luck!

Start with the department on aging or any department of human resources. My son (19) is going through the same dilemma. good luck hon.
